Rare and very special
At 20 miles of Damascus it was some atelier where works some craftsman’s.They manufacture this kind of ceramic called “echaany”.
This echaany have decorated the famous Omayyad mosque at Damascus and the khalifes castles, specially the best Hamra castles in Andalusia.
Is writing in history books (… the kalifes order echaany’s to embellish their halls…)
What’s special in echaany: It’s little thicker. The layer of glass is very robust; don't crack easily, although it is older than the other ceramic of the region.
It’s difficult to do the description of an object like this, absolutely marvelous.
This is a museum piece, and let me say it’s very rare to found a ceramic dish in our region.
This piece is original and rare. comes from Damascus.
